After this announcement, Apple created a new weather data service name Weatherkit that is as accurate as Dark Sky. After Dark Sky company is purchased by Apple they declared the service will close on 31 March 2023. Since then he's seen the growth of the smartphone world, backed by iPhone, and new product categories come and go. The Dark Sky API has been given a new lease of life, but only until the end of the year. As you know, our app uses Dark Sky weather data. It is likely already on your device if you would like to try it out. The newly updated Apple Weather app, powered by the Apple Weather service, is available on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. The most important reason people chose Dark Sky is: Multiple reports suggest that Dark Sky has an uncanny precision in its ability to predict weather conditions.
